Archondakis family business is focused on olive oil sales. The family have their own brand “ARCHO” and they sale their products in Greece but also they export it in many countries.  

The tradition of olive oil business for Archondakis family spans four generations and dates back to 1893. This fourth generation has accepted succession of the business from the father. The two brothers of the family have undertook many serious tasks from the previous generation however the needs of the business are quite demanding and leader of the family business remains the father who is still quite active.

The business exports olive oil continuously since the late 60’s and has reached many notable milestones such as:

-          Six international export awards

-          The Golden Hermes National Award, awarded from the Greek State to companies that excel in their sector

-          Over 50% market share in the export of packaged Greek olive oil in the mid 80’s recording up to 1100 tons in a single month.

-          ARCHO brand awarded as the best Extra  Virgin olive oil in Australian supermarkets, in a competition held by the Australian Olive Oil Association in 1992

 

The mission of the fourth generation of the business is to establish ARCHO as the consumers’ first choice in the category of authentic quality products.

InToGeneration project gave the opportunity to this hard working fourth generation to improve their skills regarding Management, Communication and Leadership. Mobile application was proved to be quite effective and helped accessing the training units in a very convenient way.
